Il criterio base per ottenere la pallina é stata una fondamentale innovazione: la separazione netta del feltro e della gomma nelle vecchie palline. Per quanto sappiamo, nessun'altra impresa è stata in grado di compiere questo passo cruciale. Questa innovazione da parte di Renewaball ha aperto le porte alla creazione della prima pallina da tennis riciclabile. Si è trattato di un importante traguardo per la sostenibilità a livello globale, specialmente considerando l'impronta ecologica, spesso sottovalutata ma significativa, di una pallina da tennis e padel, oltre alle enormi quantità prodotte.
La prima pallina nel 2019 era una dimostrazione concettuale: "È possibile creare una pallina da tennis utilizzando palline da tennis già esistenti?" Diversi importanti miglioramenti nel processo produttivo hanno portato all'attuale gamma di prodotti Renewaball, sostituendo il feltro in nylon con feltro biodegradabile puro, in lana e cotone. Ora, la pallina da tennis Renewaball è approvata dalla ITF. Inoltre, abbiamo introdotto anche la prima pallina da padel circolare, approvata sia dalla IPF che dalla FEP.

Worked at TBWA\ Worldwide for over 27 years, mainly in CRM and data and had her own agency for 8 years as part of TBWA\ before she became a board member/partner of TBWA\Netherlands. In recent years she worked at tcc global as global lead sustainability and sr. consultant innovation, where she developed the sustainable strategy and helped mature several sustainable product ranges and global brands. She is CEO and founder of Renewaball, and is particularly involved in international partnerships, global brand development, hr, finance and day-to-day business.
Has been successfully working with his digital marketing agency, hyb Media, for 15 years, serving renowned clients such as Porsche, FILA, ASICS, Decathlon, Jever, and numerous cultural institutions like the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. With his team, he has implemented numerous marketing concepts and campaigns for sponsors and brands in the tennis world in collaboration with tennis network partners (tennisnet.com, tennis.de, ATP and WTA tournaments, etc.). At Renewaball, he is responsible for international marketing and sales, focusing on the global development and maintenance of retailers, shops, and partnerships.
With over 20 years of experience in logistics, primarily at Kuehne+Nagel, he has built a strong track record in operational excellence and innovation, culminating in his role as Global Innovation Manager. In 2023, he transitioned into independent consulting, bringing his expertise to emerging and growth-stage businesses. He started working with Renewaball, initially focusing on returns logistics and collection network optimization. Within a year, he expanded his scope to include fulfilment operations, successfully consolidating a multi-partner setup into a streamlined single-partner model.From 2026, he will assume full responsibility for Renewaball’s end-to-end circular supply chain. His focus is on establishing a lean, cost-efficient supply chain that is future-ready, while ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day activities and shaping long-term strategic direction.
